There's a story that dates WAY back when Lion King II came out to VHS in 1998. Naturally: after I saw it for the first time, I fell in love with the movie, particularly Kovu. He is my fave. And during the Christmas of 1998, my mom gave me Kiara. My (biological) father was supposed to give me Kovu. Instead, he gave me pajamas. Not that it was bad, I LOVED them till the day I grew out of them. Still, Kiara-plush had no mate. 
That is...till now.
Last week, I won a bid for the Kovu plush I have been wanting for nearly 11 years. I love eBay. I found one at an affordable price. 99 cents, plus shipping and handling. In new condition. I checked the mail today, and there it was.
Kiara and Kovu were finally united. Now I have my fave TLK couple, in plushy form. Kovu is slightly bigger, but it's cool. Eleven years.....and I finally have my Kovu plush. I'm so happy right now.
Yeah, I had to take a pic of the two together. If you can't tell, I have a new bed covering. Lion King. The blanket was $15 at Ross. It was the last one. So there was no contemplating whether or not to buy it.
I may be 20 years old, but The Lion King is a movie that always takes me back to childhood.

Very cool! I had this Kiara at one point, picked her up for $2 at the local Goodwill. She was in about the same condition as yours here. I don't have her anymore, but I am re-obtaining her soon, one in better shape. I have the Kovu on his way to me currently.
